About buildArI
Building software has never been cheaper. Deciding what to build has never been harder. buildArI exists for the second problem.
The thesis
Every buildArI product is human-curated AI: an operator decides what the analysis asks and what it refuses to accept, and the machine does that work at a speed and a price a person cannot. The judgment is always a human's.
AI builders will write your app in an afternoon. None of them will tell you whether anyone wants it, what it costs to acquire a customer, or whether the numbers survive contact with a spreadsheet. The cost of building collapsed; the cost of building the wrong thing did not — it went up, because now you find out faster and with more conviction.
So we build the parts of the journey that sit either side of the code. Pressure-test the idea. Turn the decision into a spec. Raise on it, market it, and run it. The build itself is the one step we are happy to leave to somebody else.
What we ship
AdvisorI
Advice you can build on.
Speak your idea and AdvisorI runs a full analysis — viability, customer acquisition, and finances — as an AI conversation that finds the gaps, then hands you a PDF and a build-ready spec.
reAlIze
You make the calls. reAlIze makes it real.
reAlIze turns decisions-only specs into working software, then runs the launch. It's the engine behind every buildArI product.
prepAIr
Know the deal before you're in the room.
prepAIr maps your raise and reads every term sheet with you, for founders raising capital and for investors evaluating deals, so you know what a deal asks of you before you sign.
They are one platform, not a portfolio: one account, one identity, and a project that starts in one product can be picked up by the next. That is the part that is hard to copy — anyone can build a single tool, but the handoff between them is where a founder actually loses time.
Who is behind it
buildArI is built by Matt Newman, an operator before a founder. He grew Gateway's channel from $9M to $23M, then joined a company doing under $250K a year and helped take it to an eight-figure exit in five years.
He founded InstaShow, sits on the board of Rellaire, and is a partner in two more ventures. The products here are the tools he wanted and could not buy — which is why they answer the questions an operator asks, not the ones that demo well.
The same experience is available directly through mentorship, for founders who want that judgment in conversation as well as through AdvisorI.
How we build
Specs are decision documents, not documentation. A human writes only what a human can decide — the problem, the success metric, the edge-case calls, what is explicitly out of scope — and the machine fills in the scaffolding. Thin specs are what cause the bug-fixing tax that eats a launch, and this is the discipline that removes it.
It is also why a small team ships across six products: the leverage is in refusing to write down anything that did not require a judgment call.
